A fun-packed charity fundraising event open to teams of four from the same family. 32 family teams are invited to compete against each other in a knockout event for the prestigious Family Scramble Trophy.
When, Where and Why?
The event will take place on Saturday 19th September from 2pm onwards at Lymington Sea Water Baths. The event is being staged in aid of Oakhaven Hospice Trust.
Cost
The cost will be £30 per family, 50% of which will go to Oakhaven Hospice Trust. There will also be a raffle. 100% of proceeds to Oakhaven Hospice Trust. If you can donate a prize please do. Contact either Tony Evans at LTSC or Hugo Ambrose at LSWB.
The Course
The course, which each of the team of 4 must complete in full, consists of:
- all 4 team members scrambling down the dual racer constant airflows
- 2 team members swimming to the 500 series start pad
- 2 team members paddle boarding to the 500 series start pad
- all 4 team members scrambling the length of the 500 series obstacle course
- all 4 team members paddle boarding on a giant paddle board to the finish

Rules and Regulations
- Teams must comprise at least 2 generations from one family/household.
- The format is 2 teams per race, winner goes through to the next round and so on.
- Races and order will be drawn out of a hat prior to the event
First aid will be on site.
- WARNING: this is an energetic, physical event so not suitable for those with pre-existing medical conditions.
